We have had the pleasure of doing a number of framing jobs for the owners of these beautiful pieces...

Garth wanted something special, so we discussed numerous options before settling on what you see here, The finished artwork was stunning, we would have happily kept them as they would look fantastic in our home.

It is so fabulous the transformation that artwork undertakes when framed...

Apart from simply loving each of these, they hold deep sentimental value for Garth the owner, the still life was painted by his Mum who is now 90, & the other by a well known artist from where Garth grew up...

We look forward to sharing the next two pieces we are doing for Garth, we will be discussing framing options later this week....

Our client Amanda had thought about doing something with husband Jamie's surf medals & photo for quite a while, his recent 40th birthday was the prompt she needed.

We were presented with a photograph & two medals.....

We wanted the final presentation to make a statement so what we decided to do for Jamie, was to copy the supplied photograph, reproduce a lighter version of the photo on canvas & seat the medals in recesses cut through the canvas...

The final piece is fabulous.............

A little tip when purchasing matted & mounted artpieces

Last week a client bought in a couple of prints they had purchased that were already mounted & matted, unfortunately this was not done properly, the prints were not hinge mounted & as a consequence they buckled, fortunately we were able to point out this was the issue & the client was able to have the prints replaced, but please be careful when purchasing items, poor framing & mounting can cause serious damage.

If you are not sure about this please call in and we can explain what to look for
